Hi, John.
Thanks for advertising our seminar series; I coordinate that seminar and I'd like to ask you to make a correction to this post. Dirk Haubrich is also affiliated with the University of Oxford and was speaking in an academic capacity not on behalf of the Electoral Commission. Many thanks.
Post amended accordingly. Thanks for pointing it out Adina. The email I received on the 28th November only stated the UK electoral Commission, so that is where the confusion lay.
