Chart topping songstress Leanne Moore is to headline the Limerick Gay Pride Festival at La Boutique in Dolans Warehouse.

Leanne has had an amazing year. Since winning You’re a Star she has
gone on to have a chart topping single ‘On Wings’. The charity single
is a tribute written by the cousin of two stepsisters killed in a car
accident. With more recordings in the pipeline, 2009 promises to be an
even bigger year for Leanne. “I am thrilled that Leanne has agreed to
play at La Boutique”, said promoter Nicole Dunphy. “She has a great fan
base among the gay community and of course is particularly loved by the
people of Limerick,” She continued.

Leanne Moore is joined at La Boutique, by "Ireland's Own Kylie”, Rosie
Howick’s Kylie Experience. The Kylie Experience is a visual and musical
journey through The Pop Princess's collection of fantastic anthems.
‘Your Disco Need you’, ‘In My Arms’, ‘Better the Devil you Know’ and
‘In Your Eyes’ are just some of the classic Kylie tunes that will make
Dolan’s Warehouse gay heaven for the night.


No event celebrating the diversity and Pride of Limerick city would be
complete without it’s first lady, and the reigning Alternative Miss
Ireland, Sheila Fits Patrick will be there to welcome the crowd with
the lovely Madonna Lucia. Spinning the pop classics and Pride anthems
for the night will be DJ’s Pat Moloney and Niall Colgan.

The La Boutique Mardi Gras night is a fundraiser for Rainbow Support
Services. Rainbow Support Services targets Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals,
Transgender, those questioning their sexuality and their family and
friends living in the Mid West region. Rainbow operates switchboard
lines weekly. The organisation also offers a befriending service for
people who wish to discuss their sexuality on a one to one basis.
