Jeff Dudgeon is undersold in that statement from the publishers. He is Mr Gay Rights in the Council of Europe. His case preceded that of David Norris, was the first succesful case before the European Court of Human Rights and his name is known to lgb activists across the continent, as far as Turkmenistan.
